Spring is right around the corner and our crews have been out performing spring clean ups, edging and mulching for our clients. I wanted to go over quickly the benefits of mulching and why it is important to complete this project in your gardens and landscape beds.

Curb appeal. Edging and mulching together give those clean lines that is desired in landscaping. This is great for your own personal benefit or if you plan to put your home on the market.
Mulch suppresses weeds. Yes, they will still come up but it will be a slower growing process and easier to maintain in the long run.
Regulates temperatures. This will help in extreme heat or cold to protect your plants and trees.
Retains moisture better. Mulching can help extend available water and helping get nutrients to the roots.
