Autumn is in full swing and I know we have got the following question a lot: Is it healthy to rake or mow the leaves?
Think of it like this: How much money do you normally spend on mulch? The leaves chopped up within the lawn is the natural way to suppress weeds and give your lawn the nutrients it needs during the winter. It has proven to build soil fertility and goes great in a compost.
If you desire a tidy looking lawn you can push all of the leaves to flower beds or within the compost. As always if you have any questions feel free to reach out!
