As the weather is starting to get warmer and snow is disappearing, we can really see what our landscape looks like. From the winter time it being covered up we don't think about it too much. With spring right around the corner you may start thinking of adding plants, hardscape, re-doing a patio and here are some tips below to think about before diving into a project.

1. What type of design are you looking for? This is to get you thinking about what you want for your outdoor space to be able to communicate to a designer. Also, think of a focal point.

2. How much money are you willing to spend? Plan out a budget for all the materials and labor you will need. Your designer will help nail down an estimate, but expect that number and communicate what you are willing to spend for the re-design.

3. If your design is extensive, will landscapers and their heavy machinery have easy access to the area? Be sure to plan ahead for heavy machinery to come through your yard depending on how involved your design may be.
