We at Eddybrook wanted to take time and thank you for reading our blogs! Here is some information on how to take care of your newly planted trees.
The first few months of planting trees are the most important for the life span and growth. Roots are still within the original root ball; some are beginning to grow beyond and expand on their own. The soil should be kept evenly moist to encourage a healthy tree. During dry weather, new trees may require water as often as three times per week to ensure that the root ball doesn't dry out.
Deep watering will help the root ball as well. Watering for about 5 minutes every other day will help the expanding of the roots.
Feel free to contact us for any questions regarding your new trees. Happy growing!
