Prioritize how you plan to use your outdoor area before making any decorating decisions. For example, if it's for dining and entertaining, make sure the grill and table are your first key pieces, the decorate around these pieces.
Colorful accents – this helps make a dull boring area really pop. This includes pillows and/or cushions for your outdoor furniture – very simple and inexpensive.
Privacy - by enclosing it with a tall wooden fence. Also, you can paint the inside of the fence warm colors to add a special touch.
Metal furniture - Even if you don't do much outdoor entertaining. It is weather-resistant material and easy to take care of.
Cover up - This can be done by using an umbrella or fabric canopy.
